Background

Luke Hewitt is a qualified Personal Trainer (PT) based in North Nottinghamshire. He works hard with his clients to help them transform their body's using a combination of healthy eating, cardio and weights. Since establishing he has helped over 500 people transform their body's through his initiative programmes and training sessions he has held at many local GYMS.  

The Brief

We were contacted by Personal Trainer Luke Hewitt to create a brand/promotional film for his thriving PT business. He didn’t want to create the usual clichéd videos that have come before; he wanted to make something that was like a commercial. He wanted to stay clear of the usual 'corporate' video feel that would focus on what he could offer but instead do a more motivational film, centred around a brand.

Our Approach

Taking Luke's brief we decided to create a ‘day in the life’ of a Personal Trainer, showing that not only do they have to train their clients but they have to keep fit themselves too. We wanted  to create a commercial look to the film, rather than just a standard corporate video, so decided to let this influence how we shot the piece, making use of cinematic lighting, prime lenses and 'off-speed' filming, slowing the motion slighting while maintaining the pace. 

The Result

The client was thrilled with the finished film and has used it extensively across social media, creating a real buzz around his work as a PT.
